Provident Music Group partners with CRW for 2004

Leading Christian industry publication Christian Radio & Retail Weekly (CRW) and top Christian music company, Provident Music Group, recently announced an exclusive partnership for 2004, which will allow for a new CRW trade publication specifically designed to serve the industry, going from radio to retail.



The cover will be split to provide editorials from both and include other additions such as an easy-to-read charting area with the week’s number one hits on multiple radio formats, as well as SoundScan’s top Christian sales.



Dave Koch, president of Westar Media Group, sees the partnership as growth. “Retail is one more important step toward our overall mission of serving the Christian music industry and its radio formats through CRW. We are honored to partner with such an incredible team at Provident Music Group, and we look forward to providing our readers with more comprehensive retail information in 2004.”



The excitement from the partnership is also reciprocated by Provident Music Distribution. “There has been a void for retail as it pertains to a weekly publication that services the needs and issues of the Christian retail community. We are excited about the information that will be included in this publication and are pleased to partner with CRW throughout 2004,” states Don Noes, sr vice president, Provident Music Distribution.



CRW’s new look will debut in the pages of its December 22 year-end issue, and Provident Music Distribution will solicit retail subscriptions to the publication through a 2004 campaign through the Provident’s sales team.
