Six house church leaders in Henan Province were arrested on November 6 during Sunday worship, according to China Aid Association (CAA).

At 10am in the morning, eight police officials from the Public Security Bureau and Religious Affair Bureau raided a congregation of 100 believers during congregation for illegal religious gathering. Four of the six house church leaders were released the next day, while two, Yuan Quansan and Guang Wei, are still detained.

Public Security Bureau officials said that they will not release the two leaders until they guarantee to stop the house church gathering or join the government approved Three-Self Patriotic organization.

The raided church is believed to be a part of Fangcheng Mother Church group. The leader of the church Zhang Rongliang has been imprisoned without trial since December of last year.
