To concluding the year, Prominent Evangelist Thomas Wang will speak on world evangelism during three nights of revival and call forth Chinese Christian leaders to meet the challenges of mission today.

From December 26-31, Great Commission Center International (GCCI) will host a Chinese mission conference led by Rev. Thomas Wang. The event will also include three nights of revival from December 27-29. Topics of the revival include mission history, the future of mission, and the coming of the Lord.

GCCI hosted its first mission conference in 2003; over 400 Chinese Christians from across the United States attended the event. Those who actively devoted themselves among the attendants to mission or other services totaled up to nearly 60% toward the end of the conference.

GCCI President Thomas Wang indicated during the last conference that the goal of the meeting is to come to bear the commission of spreading the gospel throughout the world and to let believers today understand what kind of era they are embarking upon. “If we look at the negative aspect (of the world today), we ask why there are so much danger out there? However if we look at the positive aspect, we will notice that this is the opportunity opened to us to spread the gospel to Third World Nations.” He said.

The theme of this year’s mission conference is titled “The Challenges of Today.” Different workshops will be held during intermissions to demonstrate to those attending the various methods of evangelism, how to practice it in the community they live in, and methods of praying. Special guests to speak at the workshops will include a Jewish convert and a missionary to natives of Amazon forest.
