RUF to Hold Summer Conference in May

Reformed University Fellowship (RUF), the collegiate ministry arm of the Presbyterian Church of American, is holding its 2004 summer conference at the Laguna Beach Christian Retreat Center in Panama Beach City, Florida. The first week of the two sessions being offered begins on May 10 and ends on May 15 while the second session goes from May 17-22.

During the first week, Joe Novenson, Senior Pastor of Lookout Mountain Presbyterian Church, Lookout Mountain, TN since 1996, will be the keynote speaker. Graduate of Westminster Theological Seminar, Novenson is a sought-after conference speaker, writer and church leader, who has also served in church in South Caroline and Georgia.

Steve Malone, the former campus minister at Auburn University and Delta State University, will deliver main messages during the second week of the summer conference. Malone graduated from Reformed Theological Seminary and Auburn University and in 2001, he was called to plant Red Mountain Church in the urban center of Birmingham, Alabama. He serves RUF by training campus ministers and speaks regularly at RUF conferences around the country.

RUF is located on 76 campuses across the country in nearly 30 states.
