The $1.2 million Christian club, The Underground, continues its construction in its new building. It was expected to open Memorial Day weekend.

An old 12,600-square-foot Discovery Zone Building was used for the site of the club, which formerly located at Tri-County Assembly of God Church in Fairfield, Ohio.

It’s new location is now at 1140 Smiley Road in Forest Park. The site will not only be a place where a capacity of up to 1,000 people can listen to Christian bands and music, it will also be the place for the new recording studio for Victory Videos, a non-profit organization which produces “The Zone”, a weekly Christian music video program.

Along with its move, the club, which has hosted Christian artists like rapper John Reuben, has also redesigned their website (www.theug.com).
