FCA to Hold Conference for Women in Sports Ministry

The Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) will be holding a special retreat conference for female coaches, athletes and women in sports ministry, August 13-15, at Americaís Keswick in Whiting, New Jersey.

Ladies Pro Golf Association Hall of Famer Betsy King is expected to be one of the conference speakers.

There will be assemblies, worship, huddle time, a workshop on "How to honor God as you compete," free time, and lots of time for fellowship, announced the FCA Web site.

Jo Kadlecek, author of "Reckless Faith: Passionate Living for Imperfect Christians," a Bible study on the life of Peter, will be the chaplain for the conference. FCA's new Vice President of Coaches ministry, Donna Noonan, will also attend the event.

The cost of the conference will be $175 per person. The registration deadline is Friday, August 6, 2004.
