National Youth Conference aims to provide training in leadership skills among youngsters

A National Youth Workers Conference, which will take place in Tulsa, Oklahoma, is scheduled to be on September 23-25, 2004. The theme of the conference is Youth Alive which will emphasize on the importance of volunteer youth leadership. The conference is expected to significantly promote an exciting atmosphere for young workers who seek spiritual guidance from the Lord.

"The general sessions and workshops are designed to promote an attitude of worship and motivation and will facilitate interaction between conference participants," says Tom Greene, National Youth Director.

A wide range of youth ministry speakers will deliver speeches focusing on volunteer youth leadership within the Assemblies of God.

Workshops, musical performances and Christian faith counseling at this three-day event will revitalize faithful attitudes toward God among youngsters.

Thomas Trask, general superintendent of the Assemblies of God, will be leading the workshops and through his leadership, attendants will substantially learn how to serve while working and strengthening deep faiths in God.

Attendants are expected to pay registration fee which covers meals and materials for the workshops.
