Over 10,000 decisions for Christ, including over 5000 on Sunday night, made the Twin Cities Festival with Luis Palau one of the largest evangelistic outreaches in the history of the Palau ministry. Officials estimated the combined Saturday and Sunday attendance at over 200,000.

The two-day event, held at the Minnesota State Capitol in St. Paul capped a week of activities that included outreach events, extensive media activity, and community service. World evangelist and author Luis Palau shared a Gospel message, both Saturday and Sunday, with a youth focus on the first day and a Biblical message targeted at families on the second day.

The festival also featured some of Christian music’s most honored artists, such as Point of Grace, TobyMac, Third Day, Hezekiah Walker, and Casting Crowns. For the youth, the festival included a sports zone featuring Christian sports professionals, and a massive custom-built skate park featuring world-class extreme sports athletes. And for the children, a VeggieTales children’s area was provided.

In the past five years, Luis Palau Festivals have brought “Great Music & Good News” celebrations to record crowds on three continents. Next on the calendar are events in Lima (Peru), Madrid, and Fiji.
