With less than 50 days until the Greater Los Angeles Billy Graham Crusade, pastors are being called to join in a special time of prayer and inspiration on Oct. 22, 10-11:30 a.m. at the Rose Bowl where Franklin Graham and Rick Warren are to be featured.

Pastors are encouraged to unite and ignite as the large-scale event draws near. Nearly 1,200 churches are participating in preparations as the city eagerly anticipates the return of the renowned evangelist.

Crusade Co-Chairs Jack Hayford and Kenneth Ulmer encourage churches to take action in five ways: 1. Keep the need for prayer on the front burner, 2. continue to emphasize Friend to Friend encouraging, 3. sign up for the Crusade Choir which has a goal of 6,000 people, 4. sign up for the Crusade Usher which has a goal of 2,000, and 5. provide financial support and offerings for the Crusade.

"Please be assured -- your partnership is a Godsend at this season," said the co-chairs.

Free Crusade invitations and posters are available at the Crusade Office in Pasadena to help publicize the event.
