The Christian Taiwan Gui Guh Friend's Association center celebrated the New Year's Eve by offering food and warm showers for the homeless and elderly -- many of whom lack the warmth of family.

Since 2003, the Christian Taiwan Gui Guh Association Friend’s center has offered the homeless and elderly two square-meals and a shower everyday. The organization has pledged to continue this action all 365 days of the year without exempting even New Year's.

The Christian Friend’s Center did not stop with providing food services at the Ban Chao and Taipei Station, however.

Last Saturday, Feb 5, the Christian Friend's organized a dinner gathering together with the Creation Foundation, Hai Sun Church, Hua Sun Foundation and Ren An Foundation and various organizations to bring warmth to approximately 3000 elders and homeless individuals.

The coordinators at the event expressed wishes to provide the best care in every aspect of the needs of the elderly and homeless not just in their physical needs, but also with their health, heart, and spirit.

In addition to offering social services, Christian Friend’s Center also provides messages of the gospel to nonbelievers.

The organization expressed desires to saturate poor and damaged spirits through showing the love and the gospel to the world.
