'Faith' - Theme of 2005 of FEBC's Chinese Programs

According to their Chinese program director, the theme of their Chinese programs this year is going to be 'faith'.

Far East Broadcasting Company set new theme for their Chinese programs for the year 2005 as "Faith".

The Chinese ministries of FEBC is making their programs focuse on "faith" now. According to their Chinese program director, the theme of their Chinese programs this year is going to be "faith", which follows the themes of previous years of "hope" and "love."

FEBC aims to help believers in living a life relying on God, and in becoming messengers of the Gospel. Towards non-believers, FEBC is striving to provide examples of positive life in faith.

Shou-lan Wong, the director of Chinese programs of FEBC, said that they chose "faith" to be the theme of this year, because "it is also an important issue of Christianity". She also emphasized these programs not only serves or suits beginners or even non-believers, but also for "every Christian", becuase their daily lives should be focused on faith. Under this theme, their co-workers will endeavor to lead audiences at different stages in their life of faith towards the correct path of faith.

In their 2004 annuel report, FEBC also mentioned their will to cooperate with churches in spreading the Gospel in Mainland China. Having been broadcasting to Mainland China for over 55 years, FEBC Chinese ministry has become the largest ministry in FEBC now.

Rev. Ping-chiu Lou, the general director of FEBC, says that they have experience and resource in Mainland, enabling them to become an "unique co-worker" in evangelism.

Last year, FEBC received 30,794 feedbacks, among which 99% were from Mainland China. This figure also broke the record of 21,975, which was made in 2003.
