The Revival Chinese Ministries International (RCMI) is going to organize a China Prayer Retreat on August 24-25 in Santa Cruz, California. During the gathering, a new series of outreaches into China will be launched.

At the Santa Cruz Mountains, Santa Cruz, the two-day Prayer Mountain - China Prayer Retreat aims to provide an opportunities for participants to pray for the mission in China.

Currently, the restriction over religious freedom in China has become a roadblock to the further development of evangelism. However, RCMI encourages the believers to remember that the "hand of the Lord is in the neck of the kings and like the rivers of water He turns it withersoever He wills".

Simon Lam, former Red Guard Cultural Revolution, and others are invited as keynote speakers. The China Ministry Office of Dennis Balcombe in the USA fully sponsored the event. Another similar retreat will be held on September 28-29 as well.

RCMI was founded in Hong Kong by Dennis Balcombe in 1979. It has been working hard ever since to put bibles and other Christian literature into the hands of the Chinese people.
