According to LifeNews, the “Silent No More Awareness Campaign” is making its way to several states in this September, including Idaho, Florida, Illinois, Iowa, and North Carolina. The campaign is an effort to make the public aware of the devastation abortion brings to women, men, and their families.

More than 1,000 women who have been hurt by abortion have joined the campaign to share about the spiritual and physical consequences of abortion.

"Sharing how my faith and the knowledge of God's truth brought me forgiveness, healing and closure after years of pain and regret is an awesome privilege,” said the campaign spokeswoman Jennifer O’Neil. “To have the opportunity to encourage and comfort the hearts of women who have suffered is humbling, and making the whole truth known about abortion is absolutely necessary."

Jennifer O'Neil, an actress and longtime Cover Girl model who starred in the hit movie "Summer of '42," was one of the women on the campaign who were coerced into having an abortion.

The National Silent No More Awareness Campaign - a joint project of Priests for Life and NOEL - has three main goals:

• Make the public aware that abortion is harmful emotionally, physically and spiritually to women and others;

• Reach out to women who are hurting from an abortion, let them know help is available;

• Invite women to join us in speaking the truth about abortion's negative consequences.
