HONG KONG-- Upon the invitation of the Chinese Protestant Church, the world’s famous American evangelist Rev. Franklin Graham will make a visit to Mainland China next month. Graham is scheduled to preach at Chong Yi Church in Hangzhou, where is known to be one of the greatest city in China.

Franklin, son of the world’s most famous evangelist Rev. Billy Graham, have inherited his father’s gift in witnessing for Christ. He has become the chairman of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association since 2001. He has led many to Christ as he tirelessly shared the message of Gospel around the world through these years. Also being the founder of Samaritan’s Purse, an international Christian relief and evangelism organization, he has visited over 100 cities to carry out relief work. While he has always tried to maintain a good relationship with national leaders worldwide, he is sometimes referred as “pastor to presidents”.

On Nov. 27 last year, Franklin has first revealed his plan to visit Mainland China in May during his evangelistic tour in Hong Kong. He wishes to meet with church leaders in Mainland China, and have more communication with Chinese churches.

“My mother was born in China, my grandparents have arrived in China around 100 years ago. That’s why I have first learnt how to use chopsticks instead of knives and forks,” Franklin said.
