North America Chinese Baptist Alliance Concluded 15th Membership Conference

Through a series of three-day gathering in Silicon Valley, San Francisco, over a hundred Chinese Baptist ministes, pastors, and their wives came together to discuss about the Lord's holy work.

On the morning of Aug. 21, North America Chinese Baptist Alliance concluded their 15th membership conference titled "Building each other up, Expanding the Lord's Work" at the Crosspoint Chinese Church of Silicon Valley.

Rev. Andrew Wong, a Chinese pastor from Toronto, delivered three sermons aiming to encourage and remind. Other speakers of workshops included Sau-wing Lam, expert in financial management, Rev. Walley Yew, interim general-secretary of Chinese Christian Mission, and the wife of Rev. Lawrence Fung.

The workshop topcis consists of financial management, management of pressure from pastoring, and the like.

Furthermore, as a token of appreciation for the wives of the ministers, who suffered and supported the ministers, a lunch buffet was served for them. They shared with each other their life details and conversed gladly and joyfully.

During the meeting portion of the conference, new officers were elected. Rev. Peter Tuck Soon Leong, senior pastor of Southwest Chinese Baptist Church, was elected as the new chairman.
