According to The Media Evangelism Association report, the “We Will Rock You” Music Evangelism Conference, hosted by Media Evangelism, was held at the Hong Kong Exhibition Center on April 10, where numerous starring celebrities participated. Several starring celebrities, including Eric Suen, Zhang Jin, and Tats Lau, shared their testimonies.

Eric Suen shared that throughout his studies and career everything seem to have gone by smoothly but he still feel somewhat lost although he has been a believer for the last twenty years, so he asked himself how to take the next step. Until October of last year, Suen was finally baptized and started to have this wish to allow those around him to come to know God.

“I wish that those beside me can all believe in the Lord, because God’s love far surpassed all that we can imagine. If you found that you don’t have the strength to do something, God will help you for he has promised us to live in a world without worries and concerns and this is something that I’ve never experienced in the thirty years of my life,” shared the lead actor.

Zhang Jin said that the filming process was very arduous, but when he found out that some people came to believe in the Lord because of this film he felt that everything was well-worth it.

“Sometimes because of our experiences and age it is easy for us to complicate a simple matter. I often pray to God asking him to help me become simplistic and help me to walk a meaningful life, and can proclaim the gospel for Him in the entertainment industry.”

Tats Lau, who came to Christ during the filming process, revealed that he is making a gospel album, hoping to testify God through music. He shared that there were times that he felt he ran out of ideas but after he prayed miracle happened, which he was able to compose three gospel songs within two days through the help of God.

That day, Zhang Jin’s wife Ada Siu Fen Choi and celebrity Monica Chan, who are both Christians, also participated in the event.
