The world’s only full-size replica of Noah’s Ark at Ma Wan Park has welcomed many visiting

groups including over 10,000 guests from disadvantaged groups, in a successful trial run since it was completed late last year. Ma Wan Park has now announced that the facility will open to the general public on May 25 (Monday). Tickets will be available for booking from 12:00 noon on May 20 through the Noah’s Ark web site.

There will be three types of tickets available at promotional prices from HK$55 to $100 during initial stage of opening, including free admission to the Nature Garden. There will also be concessions for children and seniors.

Noah’s Ark will be fully self-financing, without government funding for operation. Ma Wan Park will use all surplus from operations to fund maintenance and upgrade facilities. The developer will not make any profit and the Park’s accounts will be strictly monitored.

The Noah’s Ark provides diverse educational facilities. To ensure comfort and order, visitor

numbers will be controlled. People should book tickets in advance on the Internet.
