Over 55,000 people in Taiwan gathered in Kaohsiung, southern part of Taiwan, participating in a 30 consecutive hour fasting from solid food in order to physically experience the hunger that millions of children and adults face in impoverished nations around the world.

At the end of the event, over 97 percent of the participants completed the 30 hour fasting successfully. Their participation sends a message of love, perseverance, and hope to millions of people living in poverty and in seemingly hopelessness.
