The 2013 British Open coverage of the third round will begin at 7 a.m. EDT on ESPN, and continue through 9 a.m. EDT. At 7 p.m. EDT, ESPN will present an encore presentation, "Best of The Open Championship." The British Open live stream will be available on ESPN 3, beginning as early as 4 a.m. EDT.

Spain's Miguel Angel Jimenez leads British Open by 1 shot Friday afternoon at 3-under 139, his even-par 71 gave him a 3-under 139 total through 36 holes.

The 49-year-old would be the oldest major champion in history and earlier this year broke his leg skiing, emerged as the 36-hole leader.

"I enjoy myself," Jimenez said. "I keep elastic and flexible. I'm still training and walking and still able to shoot low and still be here."

Tiger Woods finished with an even-par round of 71 for the day, leaving him at just 2 under par halfway through the major championship. He is currently at 2-under 140 through the first two rounds, good for a tie at second place with three others: Henrik Stenson, Lee Westwood and Dustin Johnson.

"I'm in a good spot," Woods said. "These guys have to go out this afternoon and obviously play a course that is quick, and it's drying out and with a different wind. So it will be tough out there."

First-round leader Zach Johnson shot a 75 and dropped to 1 under but is still just two shots off the lead, tied with Scotland's Martin Laird, two-time major champion Angel Cabrera of Argentina and Spain's Rafael Cabrera-Bello.

Only four players shot in the 60s on Friday, with 14 players in the 80s, including Scott Piercy, the defending champion of next week's Canadian Open, who shot an 88. Full updated leaderboard here.

Woods will play with Lee Westwood in the third round and the two will tee off in the second-to-last pairing of the round. Woods and Westwood are scheduled to begin at 10:10 a.m. ET.

Miguel Angel Jimenez will play with Henrik Stenson while Dustin Johnson will be paired with Martin Laird.
