Miami Heat vs. Toronto Raptors Nov. 5th, 2013 Game Preview

Miami is now going with 2-2 game stats and Toronto with 2-1. The Heat played superb defense in their home opener against Chicago Bulls, but their offense didn't reach the same level until Sunday's 103-93 victory over the Washington Wizards.

The Heat has shown a fluidity of keeping the ball moving through 32 assists on 37 made field-goals against the Wizards. Although the offensive stats were not the best in the league, the team's passing creates greater chances of scoring.

"To get assists you have to make shots too," LeBron James said, according to NBA.com. "We know from the start of the game that even though we missed a lot of shots to start the game, we continued to move the ball. [Passing] is very contagious; guys want to move extra shots. We had five, six or even seven pass possessions and it worked out to our favor."

At ACC tonight, the Raptors is likely to face a tough start as it may be a pivotal week when their season is completed as their opponents includes the league's top teams such as Charlotte, Pacers, and Jazz.

The Raptors have averaged fewer assists than four teams in the league so far, but their total rebounds per game (50) and offensive rebounds per game (15.6) are the league-best.

Meanwhile, Heat's Chris Bosh, who is two-time defending NBA champion, has daughter and may not play in tonight's game, which may give the Raptors a higher chance of winning the game.
