USA vs Finland Men's Hockey Highlight, Full Replay Video: Finland Tops US 5-0 at Sochi 2014 Olympics Bronze Medal Game

Update: Finland wins 5-0 over USA and took home the bronze medal Saturday. The Finns became the first nation to medal four times since NHL players begain participating in 1998. Teemu Selanne, 43, a six-time Olympian scored two goals (video) and Tuukka Rask had a 27-save shutout. 

The U.S. started well in the tournament, routing Slovakia, Russia and Czech Republic by a combined score of 20-6. After losing 0-1 to Canada in the semifinals and then 0-5 to Finland for the bronze medal game, it is a massive disappointment for the Americans.

After its first loss to Canada at Sochi Olympics Friday, USA will face off Finland for the men's ice hockey bronze medal game on Saturday, Feb 22 at 10 am ET, NBC Sports Network will broadcast the game on TV.

"We certainly all feel disappointment in this game, but that's got to be put behind us very quick. We still have much to play for and we will deal with that tomorrow," U.S. head coach Dan Bylsma said.

The highest-scoring offense was completely shut down by the strong Canadian defense and goaltender Carey Price in the semifinals. Jonathan Quick did a great job in making 36 saves and allowed one goal.

All-time in the Olympics, Team USA is 7-0-0-3-2 (W-OTW-OTL-L-T) vs. Finland. They have never met in the bronze-medal game.

The Finns is a tough team to play, they have a structured defensive system that includes trap-style hockey with a top-tier netminder - Tuukka Rask, Kari Lehtonen or Antti Niemi - between the pipes.

The U.S. haven't won Olympic gold since the "Miracle on Ice" in a drought that will be at 38 years by the next Olympics. It had to settle for silver in 2010 and 2002, losing to Canada each time. Finland won bronze four years ago at the Vancouver Games, silver in 2006 and bronze at the 1998 Olympics - the first with NHL players.
