Update 1:30 a.m. ET: Manny Pacquiao defeated Timothy Bradly to become the new WBO welterweight champion. The 35-year-old Filipino winner settle the record on Saturday night after fighting the same fighter - Timothy Bradley Jr. - who'd beaten him in a controversial unpopular decision that lifted his WBO welterweight title two years ago on June 9, 2012 at the same boxing ring at MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Pacquiao got the nod this time, winning two scorecards by 116-112 margins and a third by a 118-110 score, according to CBSSports. After the match, Pacquiao thanked God during an interview.

Bradley took the most recent shot, appearing Tuesday as a special guest to ESPN.com and writing about the decline of his opponent ahead of the upcoming rematch:
"Manny Pacquiao has always been a great fighter and from what I have heard he is a great person, but I think in the last two years Manny has become a more compassionate fighter. I think he lost the fire that made him the number one pound-for-pound fighter in the world.
That killer instinct that made Oscar De La Hoya quit on his stool and the fire that knocked out Miguel Cotto, Ricky Hatton and badly damaged Antonio Margarito are just no longer there.

Pacquiao (55-5-2, 38 KO) lost a controversial split decision to Bradley (31-0, 12 KO) in 2012. As the vast majority felt Pac-Man deserved the victory, WBO, which sanctioned the fight, appointed a panel to re-judge the bout, which concluded Pacquiao had won.
Afterwards, Bradley was bombarded with vile, malicious comments, including death threats from outraged Pacquiao fans. Following the controversial bout, Pacquiao was knocked out in his next fight with Juan Manuel Marquez in December 2012, then came back in Nov. 2013, defeating Brandon Rios in Macau.
According to Badlefthook.com, Bradley seemed to have had his best year in 2013, where he dominated Ruslan Provodnikov in the 2013 Fight of the Year in March. Then, he bested Marquez in October.
If judging simply by the previous two fights, Bradley seems to have an upper hand. He remains adamant he won in the last match, but Pacquiao is equally convinced he won.
"I have been around boxing for 20 years and I know who is winning and who is losing," Pacquiao said, according to Yahoo Sports.
Bradley said this time around he will be fighting to get the approval of the fans, because he felt he had lost since there were mostly negative feedbacks.
Pacquiao vs. Bradley 2 will be available on TV at HBO Pay-Per-View and those wanting to watch online can watch through PPV live stream at Top Rank TV. The highly-anticipated bout will be held at the MGM Grand Garden in Las Vegas, Nevada.
