Going into the Playoffs, the Red Wings beat Bruins in three of four games. The last time the two met was in 1957. This time around, Detroit, like the Wild, was able to get the wild-card in the Eastern Conference. However, it is uncertain how effective can Detroit goalie Jimmy Howard stop the powerful Bruins offense.

The Bruins, on the other hand, will not take their opponents lightly, especially, after getting into a Game 7 overtime situation.

"It just seems to be the biggest battle for us and the hardest one to get through," forward Milan Lucic said, according to NHL.com. "We've got to be prepared to bring out best because you talk about last three years, you know the other team hasn't taken us lightly at all and they've give us their best."

The Red Wings are in the playoffs for the 23rd straight season. The last time they won the Stanley Cup was in 2008 and returned to the Final in 2009.

The Detroit Forwards Tomas Tatar, Henrik Zetterberg and Johan Franzen led their team in scoring against Boston with four points, center Pavel Datsyuk scored four points in four games.
