Brooklyn Nets vs. Toronto Raptors 2014 NBA Playoffs Game 1 is scheduled to begin at 9:30 am PT/12:30 p.m. ET on April 19, 2014. The No. 6 seed Nets will visit the No. 3 seeded Raptors at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario. Information on how to watch the Nets vs. Raptors game online through live stream free can be found below.
The Raptors won the Atlantic Division and had 48 wins, the highest the franchise ever reached. It is the also the first time they've reached playoffs in seven years. However, they are considered the underdog compared to the top four playoff teams in the Eastern Conference.
The Nets have lost five straight games coming into the Playoffs. As a result, they are meeting the Raptors in the first round and avoiding the fourth-seeded Chicago.
"I like right where we are. A good place," said Nets' coach Jason Kidd, according to AP.
The Nets may be happy, but may be underestimating the underdog Raptors.
Toronto (48-34) and Brooklyn (44-38) have met four times during the regular season, during which each time won once on opponent's court.
The Brooklyn Nets feature veteran players who have much experience in the playoffs, such as forward Paul Pierce, who has started 136 playoff games, and Kevin Garnett. However, these players may not be a match against the younger Raptors.
Coaches Casey and Kidd have both made it to the playoffs for the first time as head coaches, and Casey used to be Kidd's coach at Dallas Mavericks. Both complimented the other and hold high esteem.
The Raptors will have their focus on guard Kyle Lowry, who will be pitted against Nets Deron Williams.
