Sony Pictures Entertainment released the official trailer for "The Interview," a movie starring James Franco and Seth Rogen as they attempt to assassinate North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un.

Franco, whose starring role in "James Dean" catapulted him to celebrity status in 2001, plays alongside Seth Rogen as journalist and producer of a celebrity tabloid television show who get an interview opportunity with North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un, a fan of their show. Before heading to North Korea, however, the CIA recruits them to assassinate the dictator. Needless to say, Franco and Rogen are questionable candidates for the job in Pyongyang.

Kim Jong-Un, the North Korean dictator whose hostile speech and actions have been widely covered by American media as of late, is played by Randall Park.

The action-comedy is scheduled to be released in theatres October 10.
