Apple iPad Event Live Stream (October 16) : Watch Online Launch of New iPad Air, iPad Mini and MacBook

Apple has sent out press invites to its special event this fall on October 16, starting at 1PM ET/10 AM PT. It is expected that the company will unveil a new iPad Air and iPad Mini, and possibly new Macs. The presentation is a rather lower-key conference, compare to the previous event which we saw the debut of iPhone 6 and Apple Watch just two months ago.

The iPad Air 2 is rumored to be 0.55 mm thinner than the current iPad Air, and Apple is likely to put the Touch ID fingerprint sensor in its new iPads line. The new iPad Air is said to introduce the wildly popular gold color that customers can now enjoy on other Apple devices, as well as 2GB RAM, split window multitasking, and be available in 16GB, 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB models.

On the other hand, the iPad mini 3 is rumored to be 30% thinner than the current Retina iPad mini. It is also likely that the new iPad mini will have a new and more powerful A8 processor.

We also expect Apple will talk more about the newest operating system, OS X Yosemite, and many believe that the unveiling of the two newest MacBooks will coincide.
