For those of who want to purchase the iPhone 6 or the iPhone 6 Plus for the holiday season for a loved one or yourself, you now have even more incentive as Wal-Mart has chopped the price down to $70 worth of savings.
Deals are happening now on the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.

For those of who want to purchase the iPhone 6 or the iPhone 6 Plus for the holiday season for a loved one or yourself, you now have even more incentive as Wal-Mart has chopped the price down to $70 worth of savings.

The giant retailer is marking down the 16GB versions of the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus in all available colors.  Since their Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals, Wal-Mart was already offering iPhone 6 deals with $20 off.  As of December 12, 2014, they knocked off $50 more dollars off, resulting in $70 worth of savings for consumers.

In case you are wondering if this $50 price slash is only temporary, the MacRumors buyers guide has stated that this deal will last until February.  Of course, any site known as MacRumors might not be completely basing its news on complete fact, which is why you might want to jump on this iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus deal before Wal-Mart changes their mind.

According to the Wal-Mart site, you should be able to get the iPhone 6 for $129 and the iPhone 6 Plus for about $229.  There is a caveat in that you must be eligible for an upgrade and sign a new two-year contract.  The good news is you might be eligible to be part of Wal-Mart's trade-in program.  This is especially good if you have the iPhone 4, iPhone 4s, iPhone 5, iPhone 5S, or iPhone 5C, as you might be able to get the 16GB iPhone 6 for $0.

In addition to the Wal-Mart deal, the company is offering another deal through their specialty stores of Sam's Club.  Members of Sam's Club can save an extra $2 on each model and purchase the iPhone 6 for $127 and the iPhone 6 for $227.  Granted, the Wal-Mart deal is available to every customer, but as a paying Sam's Club member, you might be able to find a higher-capacity model at that outlet.

Wal-Mart isn't the only one offering an iPhone for a lower price, as Target is also selling the iPhone 6 with a $50 gift card and AT&T is offering substantial savings on a refurbished iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus at off contract or monthly payment prices.  These refurbished iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus have more memory options than just the 16GB version, but the warranty is only good for 90 days.
