Xbox Live Gold Free Games List for March, April 2015 (Xbox One and Xbox 360)

The Xbox Games with Gold is one great program that offers free games each month for Microsoft users.  Now all the Xbox Live gold members are about to get even more bonuses in the month of March 2015, and even more during the month of April 2015 as Live Gold Free Games will double.  What will these games be for April 2015, and is Microsoft planning a new trend?

We have already reported on what is available for the Xbox 360, and how 2013's Tomb Raider was available from March 1 through March 15.  If you are not familiar with Tomb Raider, I'm sure that you have at least heard of it, as developer Crystal Dynamics reboot propelled it to a success equal to that of its Tomb Raider predecessor games of the nineties.

Now it looks like BioShock Infinite will be available from March 16 to March 31 on the Xbox 360.  BioShock began as a dark game that took place in an underwater city known as Rapture.  BioShock Infinite literally takes the world to the next level in a city in the sky, complete with airships and steampunk clothes.

What is available for Xbox One?  The one and only Rayman Legends.  This game is also part of a great franchise, and is a fun platformer that up to four players can play.

So what is in store for April 2015 for Xbox Live Gold?  According to Game Informer, Microsoft is going to be celebrating a milestone.  So far, over 100 million free titles have been downloaded by Xbox Live Gold members.  April promises four Xbox 360 titles on offer and two new Xbox One games.  What are the games, you may ask?  That is a good question, because they have not yet been announced.

Xbox Live Gold program is a paid subscription service for the Xbox community, but Xbox users can sign up for free.  With Gold comes features like online gaming, private chat, and much more.  Microsoft really sweetened this deal back in E3 2013 when they announced their Games with Gold program, which allows Xbox 360 subscribers to receive a complimentary game twice a month, while Xbox One subscribers receive one game per month.  Of course, that rule will change in April 2015.

The anticipation for four free games on the Xbox 360 and two free games on the Xbox One has people speculating what they could be.  Considering that Tomb Raider, Bioshock Infinite, and Rayman Legends are very popular games, as well as part of an extremely popular franchise, it could be very good for the Game with Gold program if Microsoft offered double the games of equal popularity.

It is not known if Microsoft will continue to double the value of games per month as they will for April 2015.  If so, then this could continue to make the program even greater until it achieves 200 million free titles being downloaded.
