GTA 5 Online Heists DLC Update with Unreleased Mission; Possible GTA 6 Release Date

With Grand Theft Auto (GTA) V still sweeping the nation, it has many wondering what can Rockstar Games possibly do for an encore.  After all, the online heists that were delayed for so long have finally been released, but we are hearing of another heist mission that didn't get released known as "The Sharmoota Job".  This has also left fans of the immensely popular open-world series wondering what is in store for GTA 6

According to the International Business Times, a recent update from a YouTuber named MrBossFTW has revealed some gameplay details on a GTA 5 video that is a mysterious Heist mission known as "The Nice House" or the Sharmoota Job.  This Heist mission was cut ahead of the game's release, but there doesn't seem to be any explanation why.

We do know what the mission would be about, though.  The Sharmoota Job involves a plot with Michael and Trevor who want to rob a rich man's house, only it is discovered later that it is Martin Madrazo.  I guess that is kind of a spoiler, but it has the usual three-stage execution including planning the Heist, making two preparations, and then choosing one of three available approaches to complete the mission successfully.  One of these approaches involves kidnaping Madrazo's wife, according to iDigital Times

Another talked-about subject when it comes to GTA is when GTA VI will be out.  Considering that it hasn't even been two years since the launch of GTA V, it might be a bit too early.  The Franchise Herald says that it will probably be released in between 2018 and 2020, which is quite a few years away.  Rockstar president Leslie Benzies assures fans that the company does have a long term plan for the gaming franchise series, and has "about 45 years worth of ideas we want to do".

On what looks to be an unofficial site for GTA 6, many have speculated a release date for GTA 6 to be sometime in 2018, at the earliest.  There has been long stretches of time in between versions with the least being two years and the most being 7 years.  A five year gap is about average of those two, so why not?  Keep in mind that the Sony PlayStation and Xbox version will probably be next-gen by then, so GTA 6 should be compatible with the PS5 and Xbox...whatever.  Also, whatever Nintendo has should also be designed to play GTA 6, if the big N wants to stay in business in the next decade.

Some other fan demands would be a strong female protagonist, because the role of women has been criticized in the game.  That female protagonist seems to be a very big demand, so that probably will happen.  Fans are also demanding that the game should have a look of taking place within the 70's, as well as a new city and more missions to explore.

Rumors of what would be in GTA 6 abound.  Some have suggested that it could take place in London, as opposed to the fictional Vice Cities in America.

Whatever the case, fans will have to wait a long time before GTA 6 is out.  In the meantime, they can enjoy the Online Heists DLC, and perhaps that one unreleased mission will come out.
