One more day to go and you can start downloading the second DLC character for the popular fighting game, Mortal Kombat X veteran Kombatant, Tanya. At least if you buy the Mortal Kombat X Kombat Pack.
NetherRealm Studios, which developed the Mortal Kombat game series, said Tanya is available for download on June 2, while those who want to purchase separately, Tanya and the Klassic Pack 1 will be available for purchase June 9 for $9.89. Tanya can also be purchased separately for $6.07, and the Klassic Pack 1 for $5.00.
According to Master Herald, the Kombat Pack, which sells for $29.99, will give players access to four new characters included in the Mortal Kombat X DLC as well as various costume packs. Tanya is the second of the four characters scheduled for release.
Tanya first appeared in Mortal Kombat featuring lethal fighting skills. News of her comeback in Mortal Kombat X sent fans of the hugely successful game franchise excited, with discussion forums abuzz over her reintroduction.
There are various rumors about Tanya's fighting abilities and style. In Mortal Kombat X, Tanya will be a full-featured character with three variants, just like all the other fighters in the game. Players expect Tanya to retain her fact-paced gameplay.
A separate report by Ecumenical News stated that the release of Mortal Kombat X for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 platforms would be delayed. It said that the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 versions of the game were scheduled for release by the end of this year.
IDigitalTimes added that NetherRealm's own Derrick and Tyler will have a video streaming of Mortal Kombat X's characters first gameplay on June 1 at 3pm CST or around 4pm on the East Coast via Twitch.
During the video streaming, Derrick and Tyler are expected to provide details on Tanya's specials and variations.
The popular fighting game Mortal Kombat X was first released in April 2014 and is the tenth installment of the hugely successful game franchise developed NetherRealm Studios. The full game is currently available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Microsoft Windows, while a mobile version has also been launched for download on both Android and iOS.
