"/>Earlier we mentioned that Sadie Robertson, the 17-year-old sweetheart of the reality television show Duck Dynasty on A&E has promised to make a major announcement today, June 4 at 3p.m. CST (1p.m. PST). We now know that the news is about her tour.
Sadie shared the big news on Periscope that she and her friends are heading to Nashville later this summer in August for the first "Live Original" college tour show.
This actually makes a lot of sense, considering that her Instagram account (@legitsadierob), she posted a photo of her with her family and friends with the caption, "We have some big news for y'all follow me on periscope @legitsadierob for an announcement from me at 3:00 pm CST tomorrow :-)"
Following her announcement on Periscope, Sadie shared further details on her website, LiveOriginal.com.
"Live Original LIVE is an "inspirational gathering" that will be held on August 29th at Lipscomb University's Allen Arena @7PM. The stop will "highlight those who are following Robertson's call to 'live original' in all areas of their lives, such as in their schools, communities and relationships."
The gathering will also feature other speakers including Sadie's brother John Luke Robertson and his fiancée or soon-to-be wife Mary Kate McEachern, Reed Robertson, Cole Robertson, The Bachelor couple Sean and Catherine Lowe and the band King & Country.
"This is the most excited I have ever been about any event, and that's saying a lot!" the daughter of Korie and Willie Robertson wrote. "We have been praying that this message will touch a lot of lives."
Sadie often posts on Instagram pictures of herself, as well as how much that she loves the Robertson family. For example, she posted a picture of her grandmother on the beach with a caption reading: "My great grandmother is the most loving, kind, classy and humble woman around. She is the definition of beauty, a true Proverbs 31 lady." She also added: "She (grandmother) leads the women in our family to greatness. I can only pray I am half the woman she is one day. My love for you is crazy. I am blessed with this woman in my life."
For those that aren't familiar with Sadie Robertson, she is the granddaughter of Phil Robertson, found of Duck Commander. Her parents are Korie Howard Robertson and Willie Robertson, who is the company's current CEO. She has been very active, starting a YouTube channel known as The New Different, and has modeled her own dresses labeled Live Original by Sadie Robertson.
One of her biggest appearances on television was not only on TV's Duck Dynasty, but she also finished second place behind Alfonso Ribeiro in 2014's Dancing with the Stars. On her YouTube channel, Sadie Robertson tries to inspire the youths to live a Christian-centered life and to be true to their individuality, according to Christian Today. She told her viewers in an episode entitled "Just Be You and Live Original," that she also has some flaws as a person, but her trust and faith in God allows her to deal with these issues positively.
