The wedding date for "Duck Dynasty" star John Luke Robertson and his fiance, Mary Kate McEacharn, is just around the corner, and in preparation of their big day, the young couple has picked out a great selection of practical items available through their wedding registry on theknot.com.

On October 11 of last year, John Luke celebrated his 19th birthday by proposing to then-18-year-old McEacharn: "I looked up to find him on one knee, holding the ring out, and he said 'Mary Kate McEacharn, will you marry me?'" the-soon-to-be wife wrote of the surprise proposal on her fiance's 'Young and Beardless' blog.

Almost seven months later, the young couple is busy preparing for their wedding, which will be held on June 27 in L.A., according to the duo's gift registries at Bed Bath & Beyond and West Elm.

Also included on the couple's wedding registry at Bed Bath & Beyond are a variety of kitchen items, including muffins pans, ice-cream scoop, baking dishes, KitchenAid stand mixer, tea kettle, wine glasses, storage containers, a colander, and measuring cups. While most kitchen tools have already been purchased, some items, like the vegetable peeler, splatter screen set, baker's silicone decorating bottle kit, stoneware batter bowl, and squirting dish scrub are still available to buy.

The couple is also requesting other household items, such as bath towels, sheet sets, a down comforter, vacuum, laundry hamper, and placemats.

On their West Elm gift registry, John Luke and Mary Kate requested a variety of drinking glasses--all of which have been purchased--and gift cards "in any amount."

With their wedding less than two weeks away, the pair has also received many great wedding gifts from family and friends who attended several showers in their honor.

The first wedding shower, held on April 26, was hosted by John Luke's mother, Korie Robertson, and McEacharn's mother.

Among the many attendees were John-Luke's sisters, Sadie and Rebecca Robertson, and Korie's mother, Chrys Howard. Shower gifts included some adorable Anthropologie bowls, bakeware, a throw, silverware, and other kitchen utensils.

"I opened so many lovely gifts and was just astonished at the constant flow," McEacharn wrote on her "The Little Duck Wife" blog. "This shower made everything seem so real!"

McEacharn's second wedding shower was held in West Monroe, Louisiana and consisted "primarily of John Luke's family and church family," including Miss Kay Robertson and soon-to-be-sister-in-law, Bella Robertson.

"Just trying to soak in every moment and enjoy this special time and these special people God has put in my life," McEacharn wrote. "John Luke and I are so loved by so many and I am very grateful for everyone's support and kindness. We have such caring friends and family. Thank you."
