Missy (Michelle Gomez) is returning in Season 9 of the time traveling sci-fi series television series Doctor Who as an immortal doll, and she is up to no good.

"I can't tell you much, I'm too much of a fan of the show to spoil the fun, but I can tell you she's up to no good," Gomez told the Daily Record. "Even I was a bit shocked at her level of disdain this year. She has no boundaries, that girl; she is very naughty."

She said of the immortalized doll Missy, "The doll is on order, I've seen the
prototype, that was a surreal day," she said of her new action figure. "She should be in the stores soon. Funny-looking thing - she and me. It's very exciting to be an action figure, not bad going for a
lady of a certain age."

"My son (Harry) is still a bit young to get the whole Who
thing but he does seem determined I should have my own
spin-off, he calls me Missy Who. He's also determined Missy should meet The Queen.
Of course, I support both these ideas wholeheartedly," she said.

Another character that is expected to make a return in the next installment of Doctor Who is Captain Jack Harkness (John Barrowman), according to Master Herald. Borrowman said fans have been clamoring for the return of Captain Jack and the producer of the popular British show is doing some audio play for the Captain that would be released later this year.

That's good news for the fans of Doctor Who. Yes, Captain Jack is still alive!

According to Borrowman, he is playing an important role to keep the fans' interest on Captain Jack as he relentlessly promotes his character. He said it would be foolish for the writers of Doctor Who not to resurrect Captain Jack in Season 9.

Steven Moffat, one of the show writers agreed that Jack Harkness and River Song are two of the most important characters in the Doctor Who" mythology and bringing them back on the show will create huge ripples. Moffatt hinted that the writers and producer of the show have never closed off the possibility of their return.

Separately, Cross Map said that Joivan Wade will reprise his role as the graffiti artist, Rigsy in Doctor Who Season 9. Rigsy was introduced in the "Flatline" episode helping Clara battle the Boneless while the Doctor (David Tennant) was trapped in a TARDIS that was shrinking by the second.

The return of Wade's character was confirmed in the official Doctor Who Twitter page, which said Rigsy will appear on Episode 10 of Doctor Who Season 9. Justin Molotnikov will direct the Episode 10 and will be written by Sarah Dollard. The 10th Episode of Doctor Who still has no title, it was reported.

In an interview Dollard described her excitement writing an episode for the hugely popular Doctor Who television series, "Getting to play in the Doctor Who toy box is a dream come true. It's a total honour to contribute to a show that has brought me such joy as a fan. However, writing for Peter Capaldi and Jenna Coleman has presented a serious problem: some days I've been too excited to actually sit down and type!"

Season 9 of Doctor Who started filming in January this year. The show is expected to be released to TV screens late this year.

Moffatis working with Catherin Tregenna in creating the episodes for the ninth season. Tregenna is popular for his "Doctor Who" spin-off series "Torchwood."
