Clearly there is no athletic shoe that is hailed as the Air Jordan brand, and these shoes are coveted by collectors.  This summer will reveal the Air Jordan 11Lab4 and the VII "Bordeux" Retro, and fans are anxiously awaiting the Spring 2016 Retro Collection.  So what are the release dates and prices of said shoes, and the rumors surrounding this collection for 2016?

According to Sneaker News, the Air Jordan all-red aesthetic of the Air Jordan 11Lab4 aka "University Red" will be available with a release date of July 11th, 2015.  In case you are wondering how this sneaker, which is one of the most talked-about upcoming releases this year, received this name, it is because of the design.  The patent leather upper is inspired by the Air Jordan 11, but the silhouette is entirely from the Air Jordan 4, complete with a molded toe-box that was characteristic of the Air Jordan 4 "Laser".  The price will be about $250.

Another popular model to look forward to seeing in July is the Air Jordan 7 "Bordeaux", as part of the Jordan Brand's remastered lineup.  According to Sneaker Bar Detroit, this sneaker was originally released back in 2011, and it is now making its comeback, looking very similar to the original release back in 1991.  The shoe has a Black and Grey upper with bright and vibrant accents, with the back of the heel featuring a V-shaped emblem as well as Jordan's number 23.   The release date for this shoe is Saturday, July 18th, 2015 for a price of about $190.

Not only does Air Jordan have some plans for this summer, but for next Spring 2016 as well.  According to Complex.com, Jordan has many retro sneakers planned for this time, paying homage to "critical junctures in Michael Jordan's history.

For example, there will be a "Poster" collection which has a white/black Air Jordan II and a mostly black Air Jordan XII, which are inspired by posters from the eighties.  Then there will be sets of Air Jordan IIs, IVs, and V Lows that are done with "alternate" colorways for the Chicago Bulls, with a highlight of the pack being the white/red Air Jordan IV.

The Last that will come out is the "Dunk From Above" collection which is inspired by the thing that made Jordan a household name: his dunking.  This collection will include editions of the Air Jordan 1, Air Jordan IV, and the Air Jordan V Low.  There will be no black or red (Chicago Bull colors) on any of these shoes, but they will be blue and white with a touch of yellow.

Well, we have already stated the dates for the release of the Air Jordan 11Lab4 and VII 'Bordeaux' Retro above as this Saturday and next week Saturday, respectively.  As for the Spring 2016 Retro Collections, there won't be any specific release date on that until 2016.
