Minecraft, the sandbox construction game created by Mojang AB founder Markus Persson and developed by 4J Studios, is taking the video game world by storm, despite lacking the time-tested formula of violence, massive graphics and super heroes.

Minecraft allows gamers to build anything from airplane to a zombie using digital boxes called sandboxes. The game uses blocks as graphics to enable players to build structures as they see fit during the game.

As the popularity of Minecraft intensifies, loyal fans of the sandbox game are eagerly awaiting for the release of TU14 updates (TU stands for title update). On July 1 Minecraft released the following updates, TU25, CU14, and 1.17 released on 360, One, and all PlayStation Editions, respectively. Two days later, Minecraft unveiled the TU26 on Xbox 360 Edition.

Several reports indicated that 4J Studios is finalizing the release of the TU14 pack but there has been no confirmation of its exact release date, said Press and Update.

But fans are optimistic about the upcoming release of the TU14 with the launch of Minecraft on PS 3 and Xbox One platforms. Minecraft is also said to be developing a version for PS Vita and other game consoles, the report said.

Fortunately for the loyal fans of Minecraft, the executives of 4J Studios seem to have heard their call for the TU14 update as the game developer is now focused on bringing a fresh Minecraft realms, including an adventure mode, and a mode of trading that will allow the gamers to indulge in mining and trading with fellow villagers.

Last Saturday, 4J Studios said the Minecraft: Story Mode would be a narrative-driven, episodic video game series being created by Mojang AB in collaboration with Telltale Games. Set in the world of Minecraft, the series is set to feature an original story driven by player decision. The series will consist of five episodes, with the first episode set for release in 2015. Mojang has also said that it will not have any kind of story expanding on Minecraft's main character Steve or Alex.

There are also rumors that engineers are busy working on making changes to the graphics and adding new and interesting visuals in the jungle and forest modes. Though it would be foolish to say something about the actual changes that get transpired in the TU14 updates in the near future, it can be said with certainty that trading, jungle and desert themed settings, new varieties of foods, oceans and anvils are coming with TU14 updates.

Meanwhile, 4J Studios said that Minecraft's update 26 for Xbox 360 is now live. The first patch is expected to fix the problems encountered by players who installed the game on their Xbox 360, said Softpedia.

Update 26 is seen to fix problems, including errors when deleting or renaming a saved game, interacting with stacking doors, or removing leads from fences. The first patch should also allow players the option of not destroying their mine carts when "can build and mine" privilege is disabled, and they cannot open contains when that respective privilege is also disabled.

Minecraft is a game about breaking and placing blocks. At first, people built structures to protect against nocturnal monsters, but as the game grew players worked together to create wonderful, imaginative things.

It can also be about adventuring with friends or watching the sun rise over a blocky ocean. It's pretty. Brave players battle terrible things in The Nether, which is more scary than pretty. You can also visit a land of mushrooms if it sounds more like your cup of tea.
