Ahead of Samsung's official unveiling of its much-anticipated Galaxy Note 5 and S6 Edge Plus on August 13th, trusted tipster Evan Blas, also known as @EVleaks, has posted several Twitter showing leaked images of the smartphones as well as their specifications.

In his post, Blass said that the Note 5 phablet is codenamed Samsung Noble and comes with model number SM-N920. This information confirms ab earlier leak suggesting similar model numbers of the variants of the Galaxy Note 5 for different markets.

He said the Galaxy Note 5 will sport a have a 5.66-inch, 2560 x 1440 display, like its Samsung Galaxy Note 4 predecessor. But its inside will have a significant upgrade compared to the Galaxy S6 and powered by an octa-core Exynos 7420 chip set, 4GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage. The phablet will also have a 16-megapixel rear camera paired with a 5-megapixel front shooter, according EVLeaks. That new metal-and-glass design does come with a loss, however: the removable back and the microSD card slot on the Note 4 are said to be missing this time around.

Earlier we reported that the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 includes USB type C, wireless charging, faster charging time (may be around 25 minutes for full charge), a microSD slot, as well as a removable battery just like the Galaxy S6, indicating that Samsung is veering in a different direction with its latest flagship smartphones.

What can be confirmed so far is that Galaxy 5 will be sporting the fastest internal storage system available in the Samsung specs, called UFS 2.0 (Universal Flash Storage), which was also present in the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge. The UFS 2.0 proved to be at par in performance compared with the eMMC 5.0 memory that is used by its competitor flagships.

Meanwhile, EVLeaks revealed that the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus will look exactly like what its name suggests - it's a bigger S6 Edge. The Note 5, meanwhile, looks like it shares a similar the Galaxy S6's handsome metal-and-glass design, though it has slightly sharper corners from the looks of it.

A separate report by NDTV Gadgets added that an Indian import/export manifest site has release the camera module on the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus. The Indian import/ export site, Zauba also provided insights on the pricing of the upcoming smartphone. It said that the 16-megapixel camera module of the Samsung model SM-G928V, believed to be the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus model intended for Verizon, has already been shipped last July 24.

The Galaxy S6 Edge Plus is said to be priced at $876 when it hits the European market this month for the 32GB model. The Galaxy S6 Edge+, which is sporting a much larger screen variant of the Galaxy S6 Edge, can even be considered the dual-edge display version of the Galaxy Note 5, the report said.
