Add Academy Award winner Julia Roberts and legendary singer songwriter Joan Baez to the growing list of A-list celebrities who have joined Taylor Swift's squad. On Sunday, it was Roberts and Baez who surprised the crowd watching Swift's 1989 World Tour Santa Clara after the two walked the runway wearing TSwift T-shirts.

The 25-year-old Swift told the attendees of her concert as she perform one of her hit single, Style, "Please welcome to the stage legendary singer songwriter Joan Baez and Academy Award winner Julia Roberts" reported Newscom.au.

Swift later posted a picture of Roberts and Baez on her Instagram account, "Tonight Joan Baez and Julia Roberts danced it out to 'Style'. These two women are my heroes. What an honor."

Swift has invited celebrity guests to join her on the runway every night of the tour. The celebrity guests are usually called up while she performs Style. Some of the most famous celebrities who have graced her world tour are her equally famous girl gang, including Hailee Steinfeld, Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner, Cara Delevingne, Martha Hunt, Karlie Kloss, and Selena Gomez.

The estimated 50,000 fans wildly cheered as the Pretty Woman star and arguably one of the biggest stars in Hollywood walked the stage with the 74-year-old folk singer Baez. Despite her immense popularity, Roberts awkwardly shimmied down the stage as Swift belted out her song, the report said.

Last month, legendary actors Sir Patrick Steward and his friend Ian McKellan joked Swift if they could be included in her powerful squad. Sir Patrick Stewart posted an obviously edited picture of himself and his friend McKellan together with Swift's famous squad girls in happy response to the latter's offer for them to join her team.

Stewart captioned the photo posted on his Twitter page, @SirPatStew, "I hope this means I can finally wear leather pants in public." The photo shows Swift, celebrating with her famous friends, including Hailee Steinfeld, Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner, Cara Delevingne, Martha Hunt, Karlie Kloss, with McKellan and Sir Patrick "inserted" beside the girls.

The joke started with Sir Patrick tweeted on July 16 asking Swift if he could join her squad after he and McKellan recited the pop singer's songs. Sir Patrick tweeted, "So @IanMcKellen recited Bad Blood and I did Blank Space on @NPRAskMeAnother. May we join the squad, @taylorswift13?"

The 25-year-old gamely tweeted back, "Thanks for reciting my lyrics, @IanMcKellen and @SirPatStew! You've made my day. You two are ULTIMATE Squad Goals:"

However, on the personal front, Swift is getting flak from fellow artists who called her squad "mean girls. Last week, the Daily Beast showcased Miley Cyrus rant against Taylor's Bad Blood music video which she described as violent and the her recent spat with Nicki Minaj.

The article also featured Grizzly Bear lead singer Edward Droste who voiced out a not-so nice opinion on Swift, "Met a celebrity I always speculated was terribly calculated and mean, and they exceeded all my expectations of rudeness and arrogance. HATE," he continued, "If you know please don't @ the person, they see all and have the capacity and desire to destroy, seriously, please just know and lol[...] This is an eternal blind item, bc I'm too petrified of their insane power. No need to speculate, just HAD to voice my disgust."
