It's been nearly two months since season 3 of Orange is The New Black aired its final episode and we already can't wait what's in store for the lady prisoners at Litchfield. With almost a full-year before Netflix reveal the official release date of Orange is The New Black Season 4, we are already getting plenty of season spoilers and revelations.

In an interview with TV Guide recently, Laura Prepon, who plays the character, inmate  Alex Vause, hinted of a possible growing relationship between Alex and Piper Chapman (Taylor Schilling) and their strong connection with each other.

"You can't control where you heart goes, and Alex and Piper will always have a connection. I definitely think that if Alex needed her or she needed Alex, they would be there for each other completely," she said.

She added that her character will have a transformation in the coming season and will be mindful of the prison environment and be on the lookout for other inmates at Litchfield prison with the knowledge that she is one of the targets.

In season 3, Alex was attacked and almost killed. Prepon said Alex will return to season 4 very pissed.

"I don't think you're going to see a more timid side of Alex. If anything, she's justified in her paranoia... That empowers her, in my opinion," she added.

But Piper and Alex will not be the only love couple in season 4 of Orange is the New Black. Design&Trend reported that Uzo Aduba, who plays the role of Suzanne "Crazy Eyes" Warren, provided some insights into her possibly developing a close relationship with Maureen Kukudio (Emily Althaus).

Aduba revealed that in the coming season, Suzanne will be more open-minded and confident in expressing her emotions. Suzanne will also learn more about love and relationships in the next season, she added.

"I think she would be in that space of openness and trying to learn. I think that she would be giving of her heart and her mind and her soul, in complete fullness and complete abandon. And that might be pretty, messy, sticky - but beautiful," Aduba said.

Litchfield to New Prison Characters

With the addition of two bus load of new inmates, expect Litchfield to be a lot crazier in season 4. A report by Deadline said that three new recurring characters were casted for the next season.

However, details are still sketchy about the roles Kelly Karbacz, Brad William Henke, and Mike Houston will have in the next season. There were speculations that Karbacz will be casted as one of the new inmates, while Henke is rumored to play a role as a correctional officer. Henke is also rumored to be either boyfriend, brother or friend of one of the women inmates.

Houston's role is more uncertain at this time although he will not be one of the prisoners.

Orange is the New Black season 4 will premiere on Netflix sometime in 2016.
