The Robertson family of the famed The Duck Dynasty reality TV show on A&E, issued a duck call last month to raise funds for their favorite charities.

Slated from July 6-17, the (Duck) Call For Charity was initiated by the Duck Commander four months before the duck hunting season officially starts. In a statement, the Duck Dynasty family said, "Call it the duck days of summer, the time when it's 90 degrees outside and still four months away from hunting season. The Robertson family has come up with a way to chase away those summer blues and benefit deserving charities as well."

The (Duck) Call For Charity was participated by Sadie, Si & Jase Robertson. As expected, Jase chose her daughter's Mia Moo Fund, a non-profit, non-government organization dedicated to raising awareness and funds towards research, treatments and causes of cleft lip & palate.

During the call for charity, the trio competed to sell the most duck calls, choosing different varieties from the family's Duck Commander line to pit against each other. The Robertsons will donate $10 from the sale of each call, or about 50 percent of the manufacturer's suggested retail price.

Sadie has chosen the Stella's Voice charity, Uncle Si will compete for the Wounded Warriors Project. Stella's Voice ministers to orphans and victims of human trafficking. Wounded Warriors offers a number of services to veterans injured in the line of duty.

The online duck call contest is the latest example of the Robertsons using their pop culture icon status to help others.

Rebecca Roberson Posts Latest Duck Dynasty Fashion Trends

Meanwhile, Rebecca Robertson, the adopted daughter of Willie and Korie Robertson, has posted several pictures on Instagram account, Duck Dressing, about the latest fashion trends the Ducks are wearing.

The 24-year-old Rebecca was a former exchange student from Taiwan and eventually, Willie and Korie took her in full-time as a foster child. Rebecca revealed on her Twitter that she has a new blog that you can follow. It is about the Duck & Dressing fashion, a boutique that she and Korie opened together in Monroe, Louisiana.

Korie is so proud of her new daughter, that she included her in her Twitter tagline: "Mom to four awesome kids plus a sweet exchange student who became ours."

Talking about her big family and the show, Korie said, "We just try to stick together and have fun, we laugh at ourselves and forgive each other. At the end of the day we sit down and thank God for our blessings and we're gonna continue to do that, and hopefully we can spread that message. And I think, as a country, if we can come back to that a little bit, we'll have a great 2014."

Willie and Korie Robertson have three biological kids: John Luke, Sadie and Bella. And they have adopted two children, Will and Rebecca. Will was adopted when he was 5 weeks old.
