Game of Thrones Season 6 Release date, Plot Spoilers: New Casts, More Bloody Fight Scenes

The cast of hugely popular fantasy drama series set in the medieval times Game of Thrones has just grown bigger. The HBO original series has casted James Faulkner, Samantha Spiro and Rebecca Benson to join season 6 of Game of Thrones as filming begins in Spain, reported Watchers on the Wall.

The report said the three new actors will be joining the series as Sam Tarly's family. Faulkner is casted as Randyll, the famous stern and martial father of Sam, Spiro will be playing the character of Sam's mother while Scottish actress Benson will be playing Sam's sister in the upcoming season.

The new faces will be joining the series together with Freddie Stroma who was confirmed to be playing Sam's brother Dickon Tarly two weeks ago.

Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen), Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister), Lena Headey (Cersei Lannister), Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark), Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister), Aidan Gillen (Littlefinger), Maisie Williams (Arya Stark), Alfie Allen (Theon Greyjoy), John Bradley-West (Sam Tarly) are all expected to reprise their roles in the upcoming season. Bran Stark and Hodor will also be back when Game of Thrones return, said Jobs N Hire.

Also rumored to make an appearance Game of Thrones season 6 is The Hound. The next season is speculated to feature flashbacks that will see the return of old characters, including Ned Stark and Three-Eyed Raven.

A report by TV Line claimed that Essie Davis (Babadook) will play Cersei Lannister as a member of the Braavosi theater performers that showcases the happenings in King's Landing.

In a separate report, Winter is Coming, a fan-based news source for the Game of Thrones, said that the production crew of Game of Thrones took some break in Spain and are heading to Navarra next week. However, the Ireland-based filming units of the series have returned to Saintfiled and began filming Friday to shoot some bloody fight scenes.

Several fans have tweeted seeing pink signs covering the production area suggesting some bloody scenes were shot in the area.

GoldenEyeBr tweeted, "#GameOfThrones Season 6 rumors have surfaced claiming the production is preparing for a massive battle in Saintfield, Northern Ireland and.."

He also provide some hints about a cast on the series being seen in the area. He posted "...a certain someone was spotted on set."

The report also cited claims by sources who have friends casted as extra cast saying they wore tinfoil suits to shoot battle scenes in the North, "including Boltons vs northern allies (Karstarks & Umbers), sellswords, wildlings and A STARK is killed in a very shocking battle."
