iPad Pro Release Date, To Go on Sale in First Week of November After Online Launch this Month

Tech giant Apple has not yet released specific information on the official unveiling of the iPad Pro except a general announcement that it will be released sometime in November. However, Japanese blogger Mac Otakara disclosed that the iPad Pro will be released in the market in the first week of next month, said 9to5Mac.

Not surprisingly, the Apple Pencil is said to be due to go on sale at the same time.

During its September event, Apple said that the ad the 12.9-inch iPad Pro, along with the Smart Keyboard and Apple Pencil accessories, will sell between $799 to $1079 per unit.

A separate report by 9to5Mac added that Apple will also release the redesigned Apple TV set-top box in November together with the iPad Pro and both will begin showing up in Apple Retail Stores for sale during the first week of next month after going on sale via Apple's website in late October.

 It is also likely that the first online orders of both products will reach customers in early November, the website said.

The much bigger iPad Pro tablet is powered by Apple's 64-bit A9X processor, 4GB or RAM, and available in 32GB and 128GB storage capacity variants. The iPad Pro is the second Apple device, after the Apple Watch, to receive an IP rating. The monitor was also redesigned and given improvement from its iPad predecessors. The iPad Pro also includes Bluetooth 4.2 technology.

Other sources indicate that that with the release of the iPad mini 4, Apple has fewer reasons not to go full speed ahead with the iPad Air 3. The new Apple Pencil and the Smart Keyboard are designed to improve user experience and provide improved performance that the previous models of the iPad family. The device is rumored to be about 10-inch long and will house 10.2-inch 2560 x 1800 screen.

Loyal fans of the iPad were disappointed after Apple did not officially release the iPad Air 3 as expected last month.

Not many details have been revealed regarding the iPad Air 3. However, ITPro reported that the device will retain the 9.7-inch screen. The resolution may be bumped up to 2334 x 3112 resolution at around 401 ppi. Also, the publication reported that the iPad Air 3 may have IPx7 waterproofing and a thinner chassis. This information comes straight from Chinese tech site MyDrivers.

There is no information regarding a potential release date for the iPad Air 3. So far, another Chinese publication Economy Daily News is offering hints that the device will not go into production until 2016.

The iPad Air 3 is powered with either an A9 or A9X processor. Regarding memory, there will between 2-4 GB RAM. Internal storage options include 16 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB. For picture taking, the device may come with an 8-megapixel iSight camera. Selfie photos can be taken with a 2.1-megapixel front facing camera.
