The New England bagged a hard earned victory over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday, with Tom Brady proving his detractors wrong and doing justice to the unwavering vote of confidence his supporters has given him throughout the NFL season. While the New England Patriots set out to have a wobbly start in the NFL match against the Dallas Cowboys, it looks like the leadership and skill of Tom Brady - who never lost his cool despite getting sacked five times in the first half of the football match - gave the defending Super Bowl champions a highly needed competitive edge in such an intense battle.

The return of the formidable Greg Hardy in the Dallas Cowboys roster undeniably rattled the New England Patriots. In fact, the Super Bowl champs were visibly shaken by Greg Hardy as New England Patriots Tom Hardy suffered from five sacks in the first half of the NFL. However, the Pro Bowler managed to get off the second half of the grueling match against the Dallas Cowboys thanks to the immediate and efficient changes implemented by the New England Patriots coaching staff. "There were a lot of adjustments today," shared Tom Brady, referring to the changes applied following the sacks he incurred in the first half of the football match against the Dallas Cowboys, according to Fox Sports. The New England Patriots star quarterback went on to say, "I don't think we practiced a lot of what they were doing, but I think our defense played great. Offense, we made a few plays but we can play better than that."

Meanwhile, the New England Patriots once again effected some changes in its football roster. The Super Bowl champs chose to let go of Bradley Fletcher, who signed with the New England Patriots as a free agent, over the weekend. In his place is now Brandon King, a rookie football star who could play as a safety, linebacker or a special team member. Moreover, Brandon King was part of the practice squad of the New England Patriots prior to his promotion to the 53-man roster to play alongside Tom Brady. Before the decision to release Bradley Fletcher was made by the New England Patriots, the cornerback had been nursing a hamstring injury which actually prevented him to take part in the NFL match against the Dallas Cowboys.

The New England Patriots is set to face next the Indianapolis Colts, with quarterback Andrew Luck reportedly recovering from injury. The match is scheduled on October 18, 8:30 pm ET, at the Lucas Oil Stadium.
