Fans will be delighted to know that Britney Spears may very well star in the season 4 premiere of Orange is the New Black, which rolls out in the summer of 2016.

The Christian Post reports that the series will have a celebrity guest on the show. Coincidentally, Spears has hinted on the same thing in the past of guesting in Orange is the New Black. However, Netflix nor the production team has verified such news as of this writing.

Taryn Manning, who plays Tiffany "Pennsatucky" Doggett, reportedly said that she is eager to be with spears again as they had previously co-starred together in an earlier movie Crossroads.

Other new faces on the show include Jolene Purdy from "Donnie Darko," plus Jackie Cruz and Lea Delario debuting season 4 with more regular action.

Meanwhile, Australia Network News reveals a few spoilers in the next season of Orange is the New Black: Dascha Polanco who plays Daya Diaz says there will be more exciting twists and turns involving her character's romance with John Bennet, played by Matt McGorry.

Bennet is a Litchfield Penitentiary correctional officer and is the father of Daya Diaz's child. Polanco adds that her character now would have to look out for the child first now that the father has left the scene. Nevertheless, McGorry admits that Bennet is not dead and is set to come back in the new season in June.

In Season 3, Bennet left the scene in connection to Aleida's drug-dealing boyfriend, presumably to keep his infant child with Daya safe.

Meanwhile, Entertainment Weekly reports that Polanco will frontline the People en Español Festival in New York City and will be talking about pushing for greater awareness on diversity in entertainment.

Polanco was excited to share her views on what she would discuss at the "Your Voice, Your Power, Your Festival." The former medical technician has already been very vocal about issues like positive body image and other Latino issues in the past. She will be joined by Brooklyn actress and singer Bianca Marroquín and radio host Edgar 'Shoboy" Sotelo.

During the panel the 32-year old actress mentioned that she would be talking about emotional and physical difficulties of relationships, especially those that affect insecurities and personal confidence.

Her chosen topic seems to resonate well with her onscreen persona and her real life situation. It was reported that Polanco very recently split up from her fiancé. To mirror this event, on-screen duo Bennet also split up from her character Daya. Will the new season reflect more autobiographical hints from the actress?
