Fallout 4 Release Date, What To Expect: DLC, Pip Boy Special Edition, Pre-Load, PC Specs

Considering the mammoth hit that Fallout 3 was for Bethesda Studios, it really was only a matter of time before Fallout 4 came out.  That release date is very soon, and this is what to expect from Fallout 4's PC Specs, Pre-Load news, and Pip-Boy Special Edition.

For PlayStation 4 owners, there is some bad news.  Right now, there is no way of purchasing a Fallout 4 Season Pass for that platform.  The fault is not with Sony, but company spokesperson of Bethesda Pete Hines has made it clear they are "still waiting" according to a recent tweet.  The good news is that the first Fallout 4 downloadable content (DLC) will not be available until 2016, so it is possible that Sony will have the Season Pass working by then.

For Sony owners, there is also another good news as Bethesda just shared a photo of Fallout 4 running on a PS Vita via Vita Remote Play.  This could take the game into an entirely new level, so be prepared for that if you own both a PS4 and a Vita.

For those who want to purchase Fallout 4 on their PC and not the PS4 or Xbox editions, there has been a recommendation of Fallout 4 PC specs posted on Gotta Be Mobile.  The specs include:  Windows 7/8/10 (64-bit OS required), Intel Core i7 4790 3.6 GHz/AMD FX-9590 4.7 GHz or equivalent, 8 GB RAM, 30 GB free HDD space, and NVIDIA GTX 780 3GB/AMD Radeon R9 290X 4GB or equivalent.

For those who want to get their hands on the Fallout 4 Pip Boy Edition, there is also some bad news if you live in the United States, according to a separate article from Gotta Be Mobile.  The Fallout 4 Pip Boy Edition is a collector's edition of the game that includes several collectibles including a small replica of the Pip Boy, the gadget that the Fallout player character wears on the wrist.  It also includes a "perk poster" that Bethesda will be including in all the physical pre-orders of the game.  There will also be a copy of Fallout 3 for the Xbox One that will be backwards compatible once Microsoft makes that feature available for this game.

Of course, the information that everyone wants to know about Fallout 4 is availability for pre-load.  At this writing, there are three more weeks until Fallout 4 gets unveiled, and there isn't any word about it from Bethesda.  Most chatter on the Internet shows that Bethesda will allow a pre-load of the game, but without any information at this time, you will need to check social media and other information that you can to get an official confirmation on the pre-load of Fallout 4

Fallout 4's release date is officially November 10, 2015.  If you are looking to save on the price, there are many places offering details on this highly anticipated game.  For example, check out Amazon Prime, as members get a discount.  A similar deal is going on with Microsoft as pre-orders get a $10 credit.

To really be the first to play Fallout 4, look for midnight release parties at local video game stores like Gamestop, as there will be a lot of people ready to visit the world of Fallout once again.
