As we have written before, Black Friday is becoming an outdated concept as most retailers are now counting on consumers to be looking for deals all throughout the month of November with Black November. It looks like the latest retailer in this early-bird Black Friday is Best Buy, and this is what to expect as far as Sales in Smartphone/Tablets, Laptops, Displays/Televisions, and Gaming.
According to Ubergizmo, Best Buy is hosting a pre-Black Friday Holiday Shopping event that will be limited to just 400 retail locations across the country. This event will begin on Saturday, November 7th, and will run from 1 PM to 5 PM local time. In case you are wondering, it is "one day only, in store only". To sweeten the deal, Best Buy will give a "Free Tech Gift" available to the first 100 customers at each participating location.
Here are some of the following deals that will be available that day:
Smartphones/Tablets:
- Save $70 on the purchase of Apple TV and any iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus with 2-Year Agreement.
- Save $75 on any iPad Air 2 64 GB, on sale for $524.99, regularly $599.99.
Laptops:
- Save $150 on the HP ENVY x360 2-in-1 Laptop, on sale for $699.99, regularly $849.99.
- Save $200 on Select Surface Pro 3.
Displays/Televisions:
- Save $1,200 on Sony 65X900C 65-inch Class LED 4K Ultra HD Smart 3D TV, on sale for $2,799.99, regularly $3,999.99.
- Save $500 on Samsung 60JS8000 60-inch Class LED 4K Ultra HD Smart TV, and this deal includes a free wireless keyboard or $100 off a 29-inch curved LED monitor.
Video Games:
- There is also a free $50 Best Buy Gift Card and Game of your choice (up to $59.99) when you purchase any Xbox One console and a Limited Edition Halo 5 controller, starting at $379..98.
- For those that want the PS4, you can get Destiny: The Taken King Game for free when you purchase any Sony PlayStation 4 console, now starting at $349.99.
Cameras:
- Get a free $30 Best Buy Gift Card with the purchase of any Sony A5000 or A5100 mirrorless camera.
- Get a free $40 Best Buy Gift Card with the purchase of a GoPro HERO4 Session or HERO+ LCD action camera.
In addition to these deals, there will also be savings on any Beats by Dr. Dre Pill 2.0 Bluetooth Speaker and Select Fitbit Activity Trackers.
If you are interested in any of those deals, then Saturday, November 7th from 1:00 to 5:00 PM will be the place to be. If you are looking for a Best Buy store near you, head to the Best Buy website and select your state and location.
A quick word of warning to check other retail outlets, to make certain that you are getting the best deal. Just because someone slaps a Black Friday or Black November label on it doesn't mean that you are getting the best deal on it.
