Games with Gold is a terrific subscription service for Xbox One and Xbox 360 subscribers, and one of the perks is free games. The free games for November 2015 have already been announced, and players are now awaiting what will be for the holiday season in December 2015. Below is a list of what is available for free in November 2015, a list of games that will be backwards compatible in mid-November, and possibilities for December 2015.
It is possible that Xbox One players won't have to worry about any kind of free game on Games with Gold as the Xbox One will finally getting its backwards compatibly feature on November 12, according to Engadget. So it is possible that players of the Xbox One can dip into their old games stash, provided it feature the titles below.

This list is by no means exhaustive, as there will surely be more titles announced in December like Halo Reach and Bioshock Infinite. So far, there isn't any word of what Games with Gold will be free titles for the month of December, but for those who are interested in playing the free games for November, here is a list:
For the Xbox One, Pneuma: Breath of Life will be available for free from November 1st to the 30th. Pneuma: Breath of Life has a surreal look to it that is reminiscent of games like Myst, and the Steam Store describes that the game "forces you to think outside the box through a narrated story of self-discovery, whilst exploring the ontological mystery of the breath of life."
Another game that is for the Xbox One is Knight Squad. The website for this game describes Knight Squad as an 8 players top-down Bomberman meets Gauntlet game, with crazy sword fights where one hit is enough to take anyone down. The Knight Squad website also says that it is coming on Xbox One in 2015, and now that it is a free game, then it would have the audience required to make an interesting game like this become a huge hit, possibly overnight. Knight Squad will be for free from November 16th to December 15th.
As for the Xbox 360, one of the games that is available to play is DiRT 3. There has been a lot of focus on DiRT Rally lately, but DiRT 3 is a rallying video game that is third in the popular DiRT series developed and published by Codemasters. It will be available to download from November 1st to November 15th.
The second game on the Xbox 360 is Dungeon Siege III, available from November 16-30. This game, first released in 2011 by Obsidian Entertainment and Square Enix, is an action role-playing game (RPG) about four characters with different backstories who must journey in an open world and fulfill quests for the control of Ehb.
So still no word on what games will be available for free on the Games with Gold for December 2015, but there will surely be word by the end of the month, around Black Friday.
