If you like Kingdom Hearts 3 and Final Fantasy 15, then you love games with complex characters and storylines, and are wondering why it has been so long since these beloved franchises, both owned by Square Enix, have taken so long to be released. This is what is currently known about Kingdom Hearts 3 and Final Fantasy 15 with their Release Dates, Rumors, and News.
The Latino Post says that there was a special trailer that was only shown to a few at the recently concluded D23 in Japan. This is a Disney event, and there are elements of the Kingdom Hearts universe that tie-in with Disney.
There are rumors that there will be some new combat techniques like the lead character Sora will be able to capture and use 10 heartless at one time. Also, Goofy will have a new technique with his mouse shield, which will allow up to three characters to ride it at one time. The Nothing will be returning as the enemies, which were introduced back in Kingdom Hearts 2.
The biggest rumors about Kingdom Hearts 3 is how many Disney worlds will the player be able to visit. It is already known that the worlds portrayed in recent Disney animated films like Big Hero 6 and Tangled will be present, and there are rumors of more like Frozen, The Jungle Book, Wreck-it-Ralph and Toy Story. Toy Story seems very likely world as it has been revealed by Gamespot that there will be an Astro Blasters game that appeared in the Toy Story movie that will be a mob-attracting device in Kingdom Hearts 3.
Realty Today reported that players of Kingdom Hearts 3 could get a multiplayer mode. The rumors of this have persisted since a Square Enix game designer from Osaka updated a LinkedIn page, stating that his key responsibilities for Kingdom Hearts 3 were for "multiplayer planning and documentation."
As for other rumors, there will be other Keyblade users involved in the story like Kairi, Ven, Riku, Terra, Roxas, Aqua, Namie, and Lea. If those names don't sound familiar to you, then you are not alone. As stated before, Kingdom Hearts is one of those very complicated video games with a storyline that has lasted for years, and it also has a lot of sequels, prequels, and interactions with decimal points in their titles.
As for Final Fantasy 15, there is good news on that front. Thanks to some recent tweets, Final Fantasy 15 is in the pre-beta phase. For those that don't know this term, iDigitalTimes states that Final Fantasy 15 is complete, but it requires some "bug-hunting and feature optimization." This means that it should make its 2016 release date. There are reports of a big event in March 2016 where the release date of Final Fantasy 15 will be officially announced.
There is also news that Moogles will be added to the game, according to the International Business Times. These are adorable creatures that have appeared in past versions of Final Fantasy games, and their inclusion is the result of a Twitter poll. The Moogles will apparently be in the background, and not relevant to the gameplay.
Final Fantasy 15 features Noctis, who will be the lead character in this iteration of the game. He will be riding some yellow Chocobos with his friends, and there will be a big mission.
Both Kingdom Hearts 3 and Final Fantasy 15 will be out next year for the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4, but there still is no confirmed release dates for each.
