When Supercell had their First ClashCon, a convention related to the very popular mobile game, Clash of Clans, there was a lot of talk about the updates to Town Hall 11 (TH11), the Third Hero, and other new features. Many expected that this Fall or Holiday Update would happen right away, but now we know the Clash of Clans Fall/Holiday Update Release Date with Sneak Peeks.
According to Gotta Be Mobile, it looks like the Fall or Holiday update to Clash of Clans will be arriving on December 7th. It was actually hoped that the update would have arrived earlier than that, but for those that cannot wait, there is some good news.
Starting November 23rd (Monday of Thanksgiving week), Supercell is going to be giving its users "sneak peaks" about the new Clash of Clans updates. These will typically last 3-4 days, with one or two new features being revealed each and every day, with the update arriving within a week. These sneak peeks will involve the developers explaining new features, showing off what's new, and fine-tuning the update to improve gameplay.
Neurogadget has posted the planned topics for the two-week sneak peak, and they include:
- Shields (part1): Attacking and Defending;
- Shields (part2): Personal Breaks and The Village Guard;
- League Bonuses, Trophy Offers and Matchmaking;
- Town Hall News (including the new defense building and the new hero)
In addition to some of the new features which include some changes made to the Shield that as well as a new concept of a "Village Guard". There will also be changes in the Multiplayer Matchmaking, High Level Trophy calculations, League Bonuses, Personal Break, and Session Timers.
In addition to these new features, there will also be some major changes that Clash of Clans players have been looking forward to, like Town Hall 11 (TH11). It will bring a huge update with a new defensive troop with a pay 1,250 to hit next while searching for attacks, and with this change comes the long-awaited bigger base size as well.
There will also be a third hero coming to Clash of Clans. Who will it be? Well, the image here reveals a character holding what looks like a staff, book, and a headdress of some kind. Whatever the case, it will only be available to TH10 and TH11 players. Speaking of heroes, the barbarians will be able to level up to 8 after the update.
In addition to TH11 and the third hero, there will also be this new defensive unit that is similar to the Inferno tower. It doesn't have a name as yet, but it should be big for Clan Wars. Another long-awaited update is the Dark Barracks, which is still "coming soon". There is also a rumor of a fourth spell to the Dark Spell Factory. There will definitely be some single player maps, achievements, and new quests coming as well.
AllClash, a website devoted to the hit mobile game, confirmed the days of the release date for the Town Hall Update 11 as well as the sneak peeks of it. It looks forward to the improvements in matchmaking, as it states that it "is quite a mess right now". It often takes players a while to find a proper village to attack, and the calculation could stand improvements as well . It is also very frustrating as it is possible to win 1 to 5 trophies in an attack, and, when the player goes offline, it is possible to get attacked and lose maybe 30 or even more trophies.
