Fallout 4 November Update Expansion Pack and DLC Release Date; How to Hack and Cheat With Infinite Caps

One of the issues with a AAA game such as Fallout 4 is it really should be a AAAA game.  Considering that the demand for it and all the people playing it was just huge, it is hard for Bethesda to maintain it for those that want to wander through the wasteland.  There will be a lot of Fallout 4 expansion packs and downloadable content (DLC), such as the November Update, and there are also ways to Hack and Cheat like how to get infinite caps.

Gotta Be Mobile states that the first big Fallout 4 patch has been confirmed and it will come sometime next week, solving the bugs and problems that have come up since a week from its launch. Bethesda will roll out a beta Fallout 4 patch for PC users, and once that is approved, it will roll out the final version of the patch for the PC.  This beta patch is planning on arriving on Steam sometime next week, without any specific release date than that.  The next step is to develop the patch for the Xbox One and PS4 users.

Bethesda's plan is to bring Fallout 4 "more updates, that are smaller and more frequent, than a few big ones".  One things that fans are looking forward to even as they are still consuming the gameplay is the appearance of DLC.  Tech Insider has stated that Bethesda Game Studios announced that any DLC for Fallout 4 won't arrive until "early next year".

Fallout 4 DLC is coming in 2016.

There is already a Season Pass available which promises "all the Fallout 4 DLC we ever do for just $30".  Game director Todd Howard has said little to nothing about the expansion packs, but he has stated that they will be shaped by fan feedback.

"This game is huge, but it's not just this launch," Howard said. "It's going to be well deep into next year. It's like the game is done but it's not done, because until everybody plays it, it's not really done. Because what they bring to it is really important; we're going to see what people like, what they want more of, what they want different, and we're going to do that."

In other words, Bethesda wants its players to be in Fallout 4 and discovering all that they can before they start to work on any expansion packs.  In fact, Kotaku reports that many Fallout 4 players have discovered that selling and buying ammo in specific ways allows the player to take all the caps from a vender and continue selling "phantom ammo" to the vendor.  This Infinite Caps glitch can be accomplished as follows:

  • Find a vendor who sells ammo of any type.
  • Pick a specific ammo type.
  • Buy every single bullet of that ammo type.
  • Sell exactly one ammo of the stash you just bought back.
  • Sell another chunk of the ammo, but not all of it.

This, and other Fallout 4 Cheats and Hacks can be found on a separate article on Gotta Be Mobile.  Here is a video of how to get the infinite caps in case the instructions were confusing.
