There are a lot of deals that are happening on Black Friday, and if you don't intend to buy a Windows laptop, then it is a good time to purchase an Apple MacBook Pro and MacBook Air. So far, there are a lot of deals that are available for the purchase of a new Apple MacBook Pro and MacBook Air on Black Friday at giant retailers like Best Buy, Target, and Wal-Mart.
Right now, if you head to the Apple Store to purchase a MacBook Air, you can get an 11-inch 128 GB model for $899, an 11-inch 256 GB model for $1,099, a 13-inch 128GB model for $999, and a 13-inch 256 GB model for $1,199. As for the price of a MacBook Pro, the 13.3 inch has options of 128 GB, 256 GB, and 512GB, with respective prices on the Apple site at $1,299, $1,499, and $1,799. The 15.4 has 256 GB for $1,999 and 512 GB for $2,499.
This is what you would be paying if you bought from Apple, who has recently reduced their prices to either compete with other laptop manufacturers or simply lowering the prices for the holidays. It might be cheaper to purchase at a retailer like Best Buy, Wal-Mart, or Target.
Best Buy has their ad prominently displayed with Black Friday Doorbusters with doors opening on Thanksgiving Thursday at 5 PM, then closes at Friday 1 AM, then re-opens at 8 AM.
The company has an Apple MacBook Pro with Intel Core i5, 13.3-inch Display, 4 GB Memory, and 500 GB Hard Drive for $899.99.
Their Friday Doorbuster will be an Apple MacBook Air (Latest Model) with Intel Core i5, 11.6-inch display, 4 GB Memory and 128 GB of Flash storage for $779.99.
A 12-inch MacBook with Intel Core M, 8 GB Memory and 256 GB Flash Storage is $1,149.99.
The Apple MacBook Pro with Retina Display (Latest Model) with 13.3-inch Screen, 8 GB of Memory, and 256 GB Flash Storage is $1,349.99.
Of course, there is always a rumor going around that Apple is going to launch some new 2016 version of their MacBook Air, and their MacBook Pro is going to be released this year, in spite of the 2015 version having been released last March.
As for Wal-Mart, their Black Friday starts at 6 PM Thursday, and there are quite a bit of deal.
Their Black Friday flyer does not have the MacBook Air or MacBook Pro in it, but a search for the MacBook Air reveals one for $1,599.00, which is a higher price than on Apple. Is this the newest version?
Doors open Thursday at 6:00 PM for Target with a lot of interesting deals and doorbusters. The odd thing about Target is their Black Friday flyer doesn't have any prominent ads of any Apple laptops available, and a search on their website didn't reveal anything but accessories for these products.
